PROFILE: After working as a car dismantler for 2 years I decided I didn’t want to just
take cars apart – I wanted to learn how to put them back together so I
enrolled at MIT to learn how to become a mechanic. I have found the
engine work to be very similar to the work I did as a Fitter & Motorman for
the German Shipping Company on Tuvalu. Mechanically minded I bring
dedication, attention to detail and problem solving ability to my work
place. I can work independently and as a team member and have a wide
cultural appreciation having worked with a variety of diverse people in
close quarters at sea.
